Well today I have started day one of Commandos challenge! Let's see how many days I will last or if I can move on each day!!

I've just finished my cardio with Mish! Working on building up each week with the workouts as I find I slacken off if I can't finish it! So today I did warm up, workout one and five the abdominal workout and than the cool down! Will work on this this week than add another workout next week! (seek & destroy cardio kicker)

I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with a disability - to try to help people who have not shared that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. It's like this......

When you're going to have a baby, it's like planning a fabulous vacation trip - to Italy. You buy a bunch of guide books and make your wonderful plans. The Coliseum. The Michelangelo David. The gondolas in Venice. You may learn some handy phrases in Italian. It's all very exciting.

After months of eager anticipation, the day finally arrives. You pack your bags and off you go. Several hours later, the plane lands. The stewardess comes in and says, "Welcome to Holland."

"Holland?!?" you say. "What do you mean Holland?? I signed up for Italy! I'm supposed to be in Italy. All my life I've dreamed of going to Italy."

But there's been a change in the flight plan. They've landed in Holland and there you must stay.

The important thing is that they haven't taken you to a horrible, disgusting, filthy place, full of pestilence, famine and disease. It's just a different place.

So you must go out and buy new guide books. And you must learn a whole new language. And you will meet a whole new group of people you would never have met.

It's just a different place. It's slower-paced than Italy, less flashy than Italy. But after you've been there for a while and you catch your breath, you look around.... and you begin to notice that Holland has windmills....and Holland has tulips. Holland even has Rembrandts.

But everyone you know is busy coming and going from Italy... and they're all bragging about what a wonderful time they had there. And for the rest of your life, you will say "Yes, that's where I was supposed to go. That's what I had planned."

And the pain of that will never, ever, ever, ever go away... because the loss of that dream is a very very significant loss.

But... if you spend your life mourning the fact that you didn't get to Italy, you may never be free to enjoy the very special, the very lovely things ... about Holland.

I take my hat off to all mums! I have started writing courses this week to get to know all the uni lingo and website! So different to TAFE! Tafe is so much easier! Lol

Anyway I have done 1 hour of my 60 to do this course! Only that one hour took me 4 hours as I was struggling to work out the site! Lol I have since heard I probably should have done an introduction study link course! Lol anyway if I'm still having trouble I'll do it next term!

I think the kids are over school holidays! Bring on Monday!!

Well we have been having a lovely holiday! Just at home!! But been busy with lots of dinners with Great Friends! Would of liked to go visit a couple of great mates during the holidays but nothing has worked out for any of us! :( I've only made a few calendars so not much craft happening! :( the kids have had swimming block 3 times a week for 3 weeks! This week being the last week! I have been busy getting school books and uniforms ready! :D

Well today I joined up for my 3rd round of 12wbt! This round I hope to put in 110% this time! I hope that a few more in Dalby join and we can do a few more milestone things together! Would be nice to push things along!

New Years Resolutions!

Mine this year is
1. Continue my weightloss journey!
2. Start Study and enjoy it!
3. Be organised! (I have started.. :D )
4. ENJOY LIFE!
5. BE HAPPY!
6. Keep Negative People out of my life! (started this year and lost a few people who I didn't know were part of that circle as well!)
7. LOVE MY FAMILY!

Now how I will achieve this!
1. Continue my weightloss journey!~ Stick to the program, and skills Mish has set for us! JFDI!!!!!
2. Start Study and enjoy it! ~ Well I have enrolled, and now to plan my days, and look at this as my dream is coming true! It can be hard at times and some of the subjects might just drag on, but it s a building block for my future! :D
3. Be organised!- Have daily planners in place! Weekly planners and also monthly planners! Keep them simple!
4. ENJOY LIFE!~ Not to make things such a BIG deal! Enjoy the simple things! :D
5. BE HAPPY! ~ Find things that make me Happy! Surround myself with happy People! :D
6. Keep Negative People out of my life! ~ Pretty much the same as above! :D NEGATIVE people do not rule my world! They are not part of my circle in Life! I don't need them in my life!
7. LOVE MY FAMILY! ~ This is going to be a BIG year for my family! Mum studying, Dad working hard to reduce debt! and Ashley starting a fresh with more help with her dyslexia, Luke starting year 1! It won't be easy, but we will all get through it TOGETHER! We will fill our family time with FUN! And all grow together!

EXCUSES= I'm so tired to exercise! Well if you keep up with your exercise than you will find your study will be easier! You will be happier! your family will be happier and your daily/weekly/monthly planner will be working...........
Our Household will have no excuses this year!

Well my text books have arrived! I will start reading in the New Year! I'm a little excited! Probably won't be when the first assignment comes along or exam! Lol but guess what? I will have a Bachelor of Health Science in 6 years! Makes it worth sitting at home being a stay at home mum! Bring it on!

The New Year!

We always like to start the New Year out

with New years resolutions and it seems

many people never make it past the

second week… I always make promises to

myself and friends and family, But we

really can never know what our year is

going to work out like! We all would love

it to be smelling like Roses! WHAT A

DREAM! :D

But maybe this year when you sit down

to write yours down maybe think about

what really you would like and how you

can achieve them? Write your excuses of

what will stop you and if a road block

pops up how you are going to still make

your resolutions come true!

The Dean House hold has

changed so much in the past 12

months.

Lukes seizures have become just the odd

absence seizure. He has started to write.

He is still way behind others his age, But

you would too if your brain had had

over 1325 seizures! We work very hard to

get him to where he is today.

He did so well in Prep this year! And we

will be off to year one in 2012! It won’t be

an easy year, but we hope he still enjoys

every minute of it! We are busy the next

few weeks slowly decreasing one of his

medications, and than will go down the

track of going onto tablets for his other

medication! We thought Luke started to

have seizures again this month, but have

found he has a heart condition now.

Called P.A.T (Paroxysmal Atrial

Tachycardia) We are just waiting for

another attack than up to the hospital to

have a ECG. Our Paediatrician has told

us 95% will be ok on tablets, but 5% will

need surgery. It seems that we think we

have got his seizures under control and

now we have this to face! But we are

positive and will get through this as a

family!

Now onto Ashley. She has been working

very hard this year in grade 4. Her

report card shows just how hard! This

year she sported glasses for

reading. They are for concentration.

She also started piano lessons and has

done so well. We are very proud of her! If

only she would have more confidence.

I’m sure this will build as she gets better.

We noticed that she was struggling with

some things at school and have had her

tested for dyslexia, she will now sport

double aqua tinted reading glasses next

year. The optometrist was very shocked

with the out come. So here to a better

year for her! You have to try to do what

ever is going to make things easy for

them!

Jeff now…. Well he is nearly at the end of

his 7 years at Wilkie Creek! It has been

one of the hardest years with all the

floods affecting production, but we are

Lucky we still have a job! He has been

busy this year with the ski boat! He put in

a new motor and it took many weekends

to get it right! Finally We have a great

ski boat again! (not that I could tell

anything was wrong! Lol)

His ski season started with broken ribs on

Australia day! OPPS!! We were up early

and out the lake at 6am! But 7:30am Jeff

was sitting very quietly and very still,

But he stuck it out for the rest of the day

and let his mates use the boat! He is very

proud of Ashley as she is now up on ski’s

on the trainer bar and next we will have

her on the rope! She does some tricks on

the knee board and tube.. I say she is

more like Jeff everyday! LOVES SPEED!

Luke Normally just goes to sleep in the

boat! Lol ☺

We paid out one of our investments

houses this year, which we bought back

in 2005 when we moved to Dalby.

So that is a great achievement! Next to

get the extension loan on our house

gone so we can buy some new cars! We

are very happy that none of our 3 houses

were flooded , only had water around

our own home. Not sure what 2012 will

bring for Jeff! He gets his long service, so

he is excited about that! We have just

bought a tent and some camping (5star

gear! ☺- toilet and shower! Lol)

So maybe some more camping for us!

I’m sure it all gets easier… lol

Now me! It has been a very emotional

year! I have learnt a lot about people! I

like to sit back and watch from the side

line! You learn a lot from doing this! You

would be shocked what you see! I have

decided to surround myself with friends

that like me and are positive! I don’t

need negative people in my life! As I said

at the start of my letter about making

resolutions… Well this year has been the

year I have sat and actually achieve

something in my goals! Not all, but we

are not all perfect! My goal was to be fit

and thirty! Well the day of my thirtieth

I wasn’t what I really wanted to be deep

down! I had a lovely SOBBER lol Night!

Yep I told Jeff next time I’m not inviting

all you old farts! That get drunk early

and go home and to bed early! I wanted

to party! But that did not happen!

But don’t get me wrong I did have a

great night! Raised over $1200 for Purple

day, as all my wishes was for friends and

family to donate to Epilepsy Queensland!

I had a beautiful cake make for me from

a friend!

Now the rest of my year has just been a

blast! I have achieved more than I could

ever imagine! I’ve now lost a total of

27kgs, gone down 3 nearly 4 dress sizes.

But I still have a long way to go! My aim

is for another 17kgs, than I will reassess

my goals! I’m doing it for me and no

one else!

2012 for me is going to be very busy! I

have been accepted into The Charles

Sturt University, studying a Bachelor of

Science ( Health and Leisure) it is

distance Ed and will take me 6 years to

complete. I will be able to do my dream

job A Diversional Therapist, with the

elderly. It will follow on from my aged

care. I still want to be able to be a stay

at home mum for a few more years and

this will give me that!

Well 2011 has ended sadly for our

family with the Loss of Jeff’s mum

Maureen. It was a bit of a shock to us all.

She was only 73. She hasn’t been overly

well for years now, but was still in great

spirit! It was Murray (morton) that had

us worried earlier on in the year with a

Heart attack and sad good byes.. But he

pick right up and is going stronger than

ever! We will be spending Lunch in Tara

on Christmas day. We had already had

that plan before Maureen pasted away,

so we will continue our plans! I’m doing

the cooking so we all will have a healthy

Christmas lunch!! And I will hold the

vegetarian just for Murray for the day!!

Lol He is not a fan my Vegetarian meals!

hahaha ☺ He doesn’t think it is right

that I feed that to Jeff either! But we do

still eat, beef, lamb and chicken….. Haha

We will come home and go next door

for Christmas dinner. So we should all

have a nice Christmas! New years Eve is

meant to be spent camping at Lake

Boondooma, so that will be an

adventure! ☺

At the end of this month my baby turns 6!!!! OMG!! So we are planing a special birthday party for him! His first real one! As he has been too sick perviously to have a party! We had to have girl and boy invites!! :D

So what have you all been up to?? I've been very busy! School holidays are nearly over!! Woo hoo! And we start swimming season next week! Thank god for heated pools!! And I'm not going in yet!! Lol

My weightloss is still full steam ahead! I put on some weight when I went to visit my bestie!! But that would have something to do with beer, wine, beer, wine and pizza!! Lol we did do some running on the beach! Lol but that didn't help much! Next time I will have to up the exercise!! Lol

I have had my beautiful husband home! We have redone our main bathroom! Still another coat of paint to do and than a new shower screen to go in! All new towel rails and toothbrush holders and hand towel holder! So it will look nice again!

We still have 3 rooms left in the house! Might do Lukes room next week see how Jeff feels! He wanted to take the boat out on the lake but we seem to have run out of time!

Will leave you with A week 3 photo! I'm now fitting into a size 16/18 18's are a little big on me though! Weight this week was 89.4kg (hoping this weeks weigh in will be a huge one as I need to get back to week 2's weight and below! lol)

Rewarded Finally! :D

Well today I finally rewarded myself for the weightloss so far! I said when I had lost 10kgs I would do it than I put it off till I lost 15, than again when I lost 20kgs...... Finally today I rewarded myseld with a Microdermabraison! and I also got my eyebrows waxed! they throw in a head massage and a foot massage! lol I'm not BIG on them.... but enjoyed it! Now to save for my next one as myskin needs a few more treatments!

I finally today broke a record personally for myself! I was on the Treadmill for longer than 15 mins! lol I went a whole 1/2 hour! woot! woot! Might not sound like much to some people... but means alot to me! I did a mix of running and walking!

Todays Food was also SOOOOOO good! For dinner we had this mmmmmmm

I think this round is going to be the best round! :D

Walking and Talking!

Well today I went for a walk out in the outdoors with a Friend. We also had another friends little 2 1/2 year old too. We ventured out prepared for the Magpies! lol We got pass the first section that we knew had them than was swooped! We quickly got out our umbrellas! Than we got up abit further and had to detour due to another walker everyone tries to avoid! lol so we took off along another path, till we seen the coast was cleared and than turned back around and went back along our normal route! lol on the way the 2 1/2 year old fell asleep! :D so that was her morning sleep! lol We made it back to my friends house in one piece. It was lovely to go out and go for a walk. we will have to pick up our pace a bit! :D But we did very well for our first day!

Day 2 of 12wbt Round 3 has gone very well! The food this round has been great so far!

Day 1 Round 3

Day one has gone well! I got back into my exercise! I need to become obsessed again!

Started off with the treadmill, Only got the first 15 mins in of the 30 min C25K. than finished it off on the exercise bike! I've still got a lot of asthma hanging around, so running increases the breathlessness...... BUT you know what I JFDI! No excuses! lol That is my number one problem! if I eat right I don't have to exercise! WRONG!!!!!

The food today was soooooooo good! Thanks 12wbt for a great first day!

I finished my afternoon off by mowing the lawn for my lovely husband! I think he loves my weighloss journey! lol

Well I have taken my photo for the 12wbt and OMG I didn't realise how much weight I have lost since the start of last round in May! I was disgusted in the photo's I took on the weekend for this round, until I compared them!

It is good to be able to compare them!

So if your on a weightloss journey Take some Photo's! This will motivate you more.

Well we are now back in Pre-season for Michelle Bridges 12wbt.

And even though we don't have any meal plans given to us I have made up our own meal planner! I have been rather sick, so not as much exercise, but have been trying to do 10min intervals as I get rather puffed.

I am now in the 80's! woot woot! and have reassessed my excuses, and have found that they have now changed! instead of I can't do it blah blah blah! They have now changed to of if I eat right I don't have to do as much exercise! WTF?!!?!!?!?!! I need my head read!

I need to get some body shots! lol CLOTHED!!!

I went and bought some size 18 gym pants the other day! (Shouted myself with 4 pairs! :D so excited! I need new shirts but will wait till it warms I so need some good clothes everything is swimming on me! Oh and We ordered some jeans from the states and I got a pair of size 16 Aura Wranglers!! and they FIT ME!! So excited! 120 days ago I was wearing 22's! and some 24's! so to be down to 16/18 in pants and 18/20 in tops size 18 in bras instead of 22's! I'm one happy camper!

4 WHO EVER CARES!

Hey just thought I would update you with my life at this moment!!!

The past 3 1/2 weeks I have been recovering from surgery! I finally after 5 years got my wisdom teeth out! Headaches that I has everyday have gone!! :D Happy dance!! and life seems to be going along well! My beautiful Husband has been the BEST HUSBAND EVER!!! LOVE HIM TO BITS!! He has kept our house flowing, washing folding, cleaning, cooking, school runs, after school swimming and piano lesson runs, along with the odd birthday party too!

So glad I met him over 10 years ago!! And so please to have married him 6 years ago! He has given me sooo much!

I got a laptop!! yay! And can now have it in my scraproom and have it hooked up to my cricut!! :D

Ummm I'm heading off to Alan Jackson Concert Friday night in Brissy! :D Yeee Haaa!!! With my best friend!! :) Will be spending 3 nights away from the family! :( but also :)

Not long now and I will be 30!! :( Since my party is falling on PURPLE DAY, we are having all guest donate money to Epilepsy Queensland, instead of gifts!! As you can see I really don't need any presents! lol So am happy to support EQ, as they have supported our family!

I am also busy sorting out Purple Day, trying to get it bigger and better this year! Go on and help support it!

Purple Day 26th MARCH 2011

Each year our Family will be supporting people with Epilepsy. We have to deal with Epilepsy everyday, since out little boy suffers from Seizures!
This year is a very different year to last year, finally back in March we spent a week at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and we finally got his seizures under control! Well as much as Luke stopped having 10-16 Grand Mal seizures every night! Yep Every NIGHT! He now only suffers from Absence seizures, and in 11 months he has had 6 that we know of. These are still serious, as children that suffer from them as often in trouble at school for day dreaming etc.. But this is not the case and sadly if you don't have a good teacher that can pick this up than you will never know!
Lucky this year we have another GREAT teacher, and they have been able to pick up these seizures. We are so grateful! But without the help of Epilepsy Queensland we would be in the dark! I have attended a Epilepsy workshop, and if you ever get the chance, take it the more people know about epilepsy the better the life will be with a person who suffers it!
So this year help me by supporting Purple day on March 26th
Get your work place involved, you never know someone in your workplace may have controlled Epilepsy or have a family member with it. There is more than 90 000 Queenslanders that have Epilepsy!

Our week in Brisbane

We just spent a Week in the Royal Childrens Hospital, With our Son Luke.

Luke was in for a Spect Scan.

He was hooked up to a EEG Monitor

for a week and was also videoed 24 hours of the day.

They had to take him off his medication, to bring on the seizures. But with doing this it made Poor luke alittle sick and it was hard to take him off them!

We managed to have the Spect Scan, with out a seizure, so we are no closer to knowing if he can have surgery! :(

Luke Was such a good boy the whole week,

and we kept him entertained without any trouble!

We have gone 3 weeks now without a Seizure!! What a difference it is to our family!

We are all sleeping! We never got to sleep as Luke would have seizures nearly every hour at night!

On Purple Day we raise nearly $1300!!!

Looking at raising another $10 000 for Epilepsy Queensland Hopefully in June!

We are looking at a 42 km push bike ride! Just have to sort a few things out!

I am also starting a Support group here in Dalby! I think it is our turn to give back to the community!

Firstly I would like to Thank everyone for the support we have had for Purple Day!
We had a beautiful article printed in our local paper!

We ended up raising so far over $1200! And hope to Raise another $10 000, in about June by holding a Bike ride from Wilkie Creek Coal Mine to the town of Dalby. Will keep you up to date!

I have been so slack and not wished you a Merry Christmas Nor a New Year!!!!

Well we have had a couple of BIG months! Luke is still having many seizures during the night (about 10-16 a day!) But this year we are going to get ANSWERS and GET IT UNDER CONTROL!!!!!!!! That is my plan!
I have done little srapping! Hoping to get more time this year as I have my boy at kindy 3 days! And Ashley is in grade 3.

We went on Holidays for 5 nights the other day. It was nice! I got abit of sun and tried to relax!

We stayed at Golden Beach on the Sunshine coast!

While there we went and had a look at Australia Zoo! You nearly need a bank loan to go have a look but it is worth while! :)

We will go back in about 5 years once they have built America and Africa!

and at Kings Beach ( my aunty and uncle came up for the day)

The men keep an eye on the kids and not the girls walking around..... and than Coby got stung by a jelly fish! So we headed back home to the pool and had a BBQ and a walk after.

I also was able to take some scraps with me! (more scrapbooking stuff than clothes, I was informed by my husband! lol)

I made 4 of these and they are half a normal card! Again my new kaiser stamps!

And I'm starting to make some of these to start passing out to friends and family since they have all been so helpful to us!

Hello everyone! I have been so busy I haven't even shared any of my pages or cards with you! Slack slack!
But I have got reasons why! My little boy has been sick! Well sort of, for the past 13 months we have been back and fowards to Brissy to the Mater Hopsital to try and sort out why he is having seizures. So now we are just waiting for the second lot of MRI scans results! But snyway I have also been busy with other things too and will share that with you shortly!

Marshmallow Jam Slice

I found this receipe in the FREE Coles Spring Magazine

3 weet-Bix, crushed
1/3 cup Caster Sugar
1 Cup Desiccated coconut
1 cup plain flour
150g butter, melted
2/3 cups strawberry jam
375g marshmallows

1. Preheat oven to 180 deg or 160 deg fan force, lightly oil an 18x28cm slice tray.
and line with non-stick baking paper, overhanging the two long sides.
Combined Weet-bix, sugar, coconut, and flour in a large bowl and make a well in
the centre.
2. Add melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until evenly moistened.
Tip into the tray and and press down with back of spoon till evenly spreadout.
Bake base for 25-30 mins, until golden brown.
3. While the slice base is still warm, spread with Jam. Arrange the marshmallows
on top and return to ovenfor about 7mins. until just softened. Cool slice in the pan,
then cut into squares to serve.
Store in air tight container.

EMBOSSING In 2009!!

Hey girls go and find all your metal embossing plates!

A friend and I have been mucking around today with these and have found an easy way to emboss!
(Probably old for some but I would like to share with those that don't know!
You need your cuttlebug, your a, C, B Plate, some felt (we all have some!) your metal embosser plates, Vellum or cardstock!

Get your cuttlebug and put them in this order!-
A Plate + C Plate + Felt doubled over+ Vellum or cardstock
+ Embosser plate + B plate
= A easy job!

You can buy the rubber mats but I don't have one and I have heaps of felt!
Just had a thought why typing! Find a skinny mouse pad! the ones that are rubbery on oneside and shinny on the other! and cut it to fit in your cuttle bug! It should do the same thing! Go have a try!!

Well I'm back! I don't know how long for! But I am back!
We have been very busy doing a reno on our house! (I did share some photo's ealier in my blog!)
Well anyway this weekend we decided to renovate our lounge and take out the window that looks down into my Scraproom! Once we have our Lounge room done We might than move into our new bedroom! We are using it as our lounge at the moment! So Since we are going to be moving the office up stairs to our old spare room (done up) I will be getting this 5.5 meter x 4 meter room for scrapbooking!!! So I have been trying to think of ideas of how to make the most of it!

Memory Gifts for the Victoria fires

is trying to get all scrapbookers to put together some 97% finished layouts so they can make albums for the families to add new photo's to! here is some information I have copied from her site

I feel for those families in the Victorian regions devasted by fire this week. I can’t help but feel frustrated at the limited amount we are able to do from here to help. I can donate money but I felt the need for something more tangible to be done for those families who have literally lost everything.

As scrappers, one of the most important things we deal with on a daily basis are memories. Family memories, memories of loved ones, memories of holidays, birthdays, christenings, bbq’s and days at the beach. These families in Victoria have got no tangible evidence of their lives left. No family photos. No happy snaps. You can replace a fridge, but you can’t replace years of momentos.

In order to help out these family begin to put their lives back together I have started a scrapbooking plan - called “MEMORY GIFTS”.

Quite simply, I ask each and every one of you who read this blog to donate a 12 x 12inch almost completed scrapbook LO to the “Memory Gifts” program. Each page will be sent to me. I will collect them and bind them, then hand them over to the head of Pastoral Care for the Victorian Catholic Education Office, Maria Kirkwood in Melbourne. It will not be just Catholic families benefiting, it will be anyone who needs it. The albums will then be distributed to the principals of the 4 schools that burned down, who will know exactly who to give them to.

Each family devastated by fire will be (in time) given album pages to help them begin their memories again. Those families can then approach their own families for copies of photos to put into the albums, or simply start putting in fresh memories.

If you think you can help, please lave me a comment and I will reply with my postal address so that you can send on your page. Any help you can give will be much appreciated.

I plan to have these albums finished by the 20th of March - that gives us a month to get cracking and create as many pages as we can!

If you feel you wish to contribute in some other way, please leave me a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Day 4 of reno's!

Ok today they put in our windows, put most the roof on! just waiting for flashing to get here!
We had our bath arrive and shower, but no vanity yet :( The plumbers marked out the taps etc. they took out Ashley's outside window and replaced it with a working new one! :) and have also started on sheeting the outside! The inside is still frames and also they have to still take out another window and put the door in! Also on the westside they have to take out the small window of the existing house and put a bigger window in!

Goals Or wants!

Well I have been doing my first page for Jen Hall's class and I wrote my goals for 2009!

Family- I want all to be healthy. I’d like us all to spend more time together.
PLAY, LOVE, LAUGH.

Health- I want to try and stress less! To lose some weight (like 25kgs! lol) And I want to be alittle more active!

Friends- I want to spend more time with friends. I want this year to be a better year! A year of laughter and Fun, but also full of happy memories!

Me- I want to find that something. A something that will make me a better person. A something that may make me some money later on in life!

Maybe I shouldn’t have goals,
I should have wants!
As most of the time I get my wants!

How slack am I!!! I have done a few Lo's! Like try 14 or more! And I haven't even taken any photo's of them! I have also made a few cards too! I haven't even sent out chrissy cards this year! Only 2 friends got them! so how slack is that!
But I do have excuses! yes indeed! My little boy has been alittle sick, we haven't pin pionted what is wrong yet but the Paediatrian has had us in Brissy having MRI scans and CT scans! All this after a EEG had ruled out Epilepsy. But the test only showed a dried up bleed on his right hand side of the brain! He has been having seizures on the right hand side so that would mean they needed to find something on the left hand side not the right! SO anyway because these had gotten worst they put him on medication. all was going well as he had been on it for 4 weeks this Thursday. But last night he had another! It has been nearly a month since the last one! So I have to wait now til Friday to ring the Paediatrian to ask for some advice!

Oh and with all this going on I have had my mother come and visit, I also saw my brother who I hadn't seen for a few years! And I also Spent Christmas up at Rocky with my sister and her family! So yes a Very Busy few months!

So I will try and take some photo's and do some scrapbooking and try and keep this up to date abit more!!! Sorry for being so slack! :)

One of the Best weeks I have had!!!

Ok firstly Just would like to tell you that I have been part of a scrapbooking forum for 12 months now!!! I can't believe 12 months has gone so fast!! Thanks to the SW members I have met soooooo many new friends (That love the same hobbie as me!!)

Jill and I have Started a Use Your Stash Challenge.
and this was for the first challenge
we had to cull our stash (which I had already done!)
Than find you oldest pattern Paper!
(which mine was about 5 years old! AHHH)
Than we had to cut it up into strips and do our page!
Oh and I won the first challenge! Woo Hoo!!! :)

SBS challenges with alittle bit of Josie's flare! :)

Amy's Friday Night challenge-
We could only use plain White cardstock, but could use stamps, ink, paint, pens, pencils.

Jill's Challenge- was NO STRAIGHT EDGES!!!!

School Free dress day

Ashley's school had a free dress day for the year 12 formal, they also had to wear mask!
With only 18 hours notice we had to whip up a mask!
I downloaded the picture off the net and Ashley coloured it in than I put kindy glitz on it!

I did up Thank You packs for Luke's Day Care teachers, a few weeks ago!
Just an easy idea, and it doen't cost as much if you have a big stash of paper!
Also most people love handmade gifts and handmade cards so they can pass on too!

Just thought I'd share my OTP project I have done the last couple of days!
I think I'm getting better at them! These are for my Scraproom.

A Pen Holder , I will be making another for the office desk! Just the same!

And a clock! I decided not to put photo's in and instead some Quotes and words that mean alot to me! Some buttons to add abit od dimension and also some BLING BABY!! You need to have bling! :)

I started this a few months ago but wasn't happen with what I going to do! I think it has turned out well!

Firstly This is a LO I did today! All my LO's at the moment are part of a Persoanl Challenge I'm doing by using up my OLD stash! I'm doing 20 pages!! This is Number 4!!!

I have been meaning to scrap these photo's for some time now! and I'm VERY happy with how it turned out! Sorry if the photo's seem fuzzy! They look it to me but I think I ned to go back and get my eyes checked again!!!

This next page is for a challenge over at Aussie Scrapbooking. It is a Layout using bacis grey PP!! I called this page " Every Life is Precious" And it is as we have found out this year!

Firstly I forgot to tell you I brought this on Wednesday, After making some Christmas cards I like this embossing folder now! :) I will post the photo's of the christmas cards after my class on Wednesday! So look out for them!

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!!! These are very nice! I got them from Ebay! At a bargin! About half price that you would pay in the shop! (Including postage!)

YAY YAY!! I have the RED TAG SALE Lettering Dies! ANd have already used them! I also got them from Ebay from the USA for just over A$40 (which includes postage) I will be getting another set next month!

I also have a heap of embossing folders coming from the USA too maybe next week!

Look out later today I might have time to take a photo of my Double Lo I did last night and this morning for Stamp Shak's August Scrapbook challenge!
